ELECTION COMMITTEE MEMBERS SOUGHT

The Tenants Association is looking to appoint the

ELECTION COMMITTEE

To qualify you must:

-Be a current F.S.H. resident who has signed a contract and are not themselves, nor any member of their household employed by Family Student Housing and Residential Services

-Not be running for election to the TA board, nor any member of your household running for election to the TA board

-Be available to assist during the election period beginning 4/18/11 and ending 6/9/11

The duties of the Election Committee are:

a. Ensure that the bylaws are followed and assist concerning the election as detailed in the following chart:

Action	2011 Due Date
Post date of election, positions available and descriptions, Statement of Candidacy instructions, due date and delivery method (e-mail, address) and date of information session on each member’s door	4/18/2011
Hold information sessions to describe board duties at both West Campus & Storke	5/2/2011
Receive and verify the eligibility of the candidates and inform the Board of eligible candidates	5/12/2011
Post Statements of Candidacy and Voting Instructions on each member’s door	5/16/2011
Declare results of election on web site and by posting posters at the offices and on all available sandwich boards.	6/9/2011

The total stipend is $100.00.
