Important! - Abandoned Bike Removal Project

Revised Schedule:

Housing has revised the schedule of the bike abatement due to West Campus residents not receiving the prior notice. Please do not remove your zip tie until the bike abatement has occurred. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

In an effort to discard abandoned bikes in Family Student Housing, Housing is asking that you identify bikes that belong to your household. They are asking that you pick up a white zip tie from the front office and place it on the handle bars of each of your bikes that are parked in the bike racks. If your bike is parked on your patio, you do not have to put a zip tie on it.

On Tuesday, November 30th, the Community Service Officers (CSOs) will conduct a sweep of the bike racks in West Campus and remove any bicycles that are not tagged. On Thursday, December 1st, the CSOs will be doing the same thing over at the Storke Campus.

If you are not able to get to the office between the hours of 8-Noon and 1-5pm, you can get a zip tie from your Resident Coordinator. Just a reminder that you should not secure your bicycles on the second floor walk ways or in stairwells. Any questions, please call Patty Alvarez, Complex Coordinator at 893-5461.
