West Campus Paving project

The West Campus Paving project is scheduled to begin Tuesday 1/4/11. The Phasing of the project is outlined below. All parking lots will remain open during construction, except for the “Tot Lot” as it needs to be vacant in order to pave. Residents and visitors should move their cars from the “Tot Lot” to the Santa Catalina parking lot by 1/3/11.

Reconstruct Tot Lot

Reconstruct Perimeter Road from Entrance Rd to South Lot

Maintain access to East Lot at all times. Traffic to East Lot on graded pulverized material for portion of phase.

Duration: 1/4 – 1/25

Phase 2

No parking lot closures

Reconstruct Perimeter Road - from South Lot to West Lot

Duration: 1/26 – 2/8

Phase 3

No parking lot closures

Reconstruct Perimeter Road - from West Lot to North Lot

Duration: 2/9 – 2/23

Phase 4

No parking lot closures

Reconstruct remaining portion of Perimeter Road on north side of complex

Duration: 2/24 – 3/3

Scheduled cable TV & internet outages

Communications Services plans to perform scheduled cable tv and internet service outages on the 16^th, 20^th and 21^st of December according to the following schedule:

Thursday, December 16^th

Television and modem service in Storke Apartment Buildings 760, 764, 765, 776, 769, 770, 775, 777, 779, 781, 783, 794, 795, 796, 797, and 798 will be unavailable from 8:00 to Noon.

Monday, December 20^th

Storke Apartment Buildings 760, 764, 765, 776, 769, 770, 775, 777, 779, 781, 783, 794, 795, 796, 797, and 798 may experience sporadic short outages lasting up to 15 minutes between 8:00 and 5:00. All service will be restored by 5:00.

Any West Campus Apartments may experience one short outage of less than 15 minutes between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. All services will be restored by 5:00 pm.

Tuesday, December 21^st

Storke Apartment Buildings 758, 759, 761, 762, 763, 766, 767, 768, 771, 772, 773, 774, 780, 782, 784, 785, 787, 788, 789, 790, and 791 will experience one short outage of less than 15 minutes between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. All services will be restored by 5:00 pm.

Wednesday, December 22 and Thursday, December 23

We are available to correct any errors and install TV service for those residents who may want to obtain it.

BIKE ABATEMENT CANCELLED

The bike abatement for Storke and West Campus Communities scheduled for the end of November has been postponed until further notice.
